Apparently, not for a school in Australia that allows their children to use cell phones during an exam. What?!? Sounds like cheating to me, but reality is that students need to be well equipped with how to find valid information quickly.

Seriously, I would have saved lots of hours and paper from making flash cards memorizing history and science facts if I had a cell phone during an exam!

Actually, that wouldn’t have even been possible because cell phones were not common and wireless wasn’t even in the picture, so at that time it would have done me no good. What’s exciting is that it is now and it will impact this new generation.
