Just because you probably feel naked whenever you leave home without it doesn't mean keeping your cell phone constantly at your side is actually a necessity. Face it, being naked is natural. And while there are still populations somewhere that don't quite cover their whole bodies like we do who probably feel like they've got it so much better because they don't have all the frustrations that tend to make our lives constantly more complicated than they need to be, I'm proud to be immersed in the digital revolution that keeps us on the edge of our seats, most of the time. Thanks to the Orange Power Pump, created by GotWind, you don’t have to worry when you realize your cell phone is low on battery and there's no convenient place to give it a boost. Designed to be used with all standard camping style foot powered air pumps, you will soon be able to give your phone the juice it needs from anywhere in the world. One minute of pumping will generate enough energy for a five minute call. Whether you’re on an extended camping trip or just don’t feel like paying your electric bill (though I wouldn’t recommend that) this eco-friendly gadget should keep you connected and even provide a little exercise.

Created by Golan Levin and Scott Gibbons, two men who’ve made it their mission to show the world that mobile devices make awesome music synths, came up with an amazing idea for an orchestral show doing just that. But what’ll really surprise you is what (or who) they use as speakers…

One of the more interesting exhibits to read about was called Phonetic Faces , and interactive photo display that serviced public contribution as one giant mash-up.
