GIRALDI

From writing and directing classic music videos "Beat It," "Love is a Battlefield," "Hello," and "Say, Say, Say," to helming landmark advertising campaigns for Pepsi-Cola and Miller Lite, and the Broadway show spots for "A Chorus Line," "Evita," and "Phantom of the Opera," Giraldi clearly has had a hand in shaping popular culture.

His short films opened the presentation that won New York City its bid for the 2012 Summer Games and closed the city's presentation to the International Olympic Committee. Giraldi's "Freedom Center Campaign" won Gold & Silver medals as well as a Grand Award at The New York Festivals, and was honored with a Silver Award by the United Nations Department of Public Information. MY HOMETOWN, which Giraldi wrote and directed for the World Series' 50th Anniversary, has a permanent place in Baseball's Hall of Fame. Giraldi directed the feature DINNER RUSH, which appeared on several noted critics' top ten lists for 2001. He is currently in the casting stages for a new feature film THE LION’S SHARE. Giraldi has been inducted into the Art Director's Hall of Fame, one of the few film directors to be so honored. He has been counted among the "101 Stars Behind 100 Years of Advertising," and his work can be seen in the permanent collection of The Museum of Modern Art. In addition to his involvement with the SVA Worldwide Content To Go Festival, Giraldi sits on the boards of The Hampton's International Film Festival and Film Columbia in upstate NY.
