ABOUT
Out of Hand is a contest for content made by students and designed for mobile devices. We want to create a community for students to have a place to share their work and inspire one another, and to win prizes and make connections while they're at it. We were founded as a partnership between the School of Visual Arts and Giraldi Media, so we've got plenty of ties into the film, tv, and new media worlds. Our contest is running through June 30, 2009, and a public showing and awards presentation, awarding cash and other prizes to the top submissions, will take place in New York City in October 2009. If you've got something you think would kick ass on a mobile device then send it in! Games, movies, pictures, and applications of all types are welcome. |
