HP's DIGITAL CLUTCH
Published in Untagged by OOH
A Digital clutch? HP’s latest mobile contribution to the art and fashion world: I’ve seen bedazzeled cell phones, which are utterly obnoxious, but who would have ever thought that techies would go as far as transforming the latest form of a handbag, the clutch, into a mini-computer.
I first read about this on the pages of the notorious Cityfile New York’s website that the Teen Vogue pop-shop at my fav shopping destination, the Mall at Short Hills, was having a special soiree last Friday night where teenage girls turned out to win HP’s latest technology accessory the Digital Clutch. Someone MUST tell HP that pocket-hardware and fashion statement pieces are two totally different entities and should never be combined; it’s total danger zone. I know from personal experiences that people regularly tend to misplace handbags, so that’d make you pretty out of luck!
Quoted from the HP website, “Gleaming red and bursting with pink and purple peony flowers”. It has a very geisha feel which I love but I just don’t see it working for a notebook or cellphone for that matter. Sorry, but I am not sold on this digital clutch idea just yet.
