Be the Change, Mobile Style.

Since Inauguration Day is shortly approaching, I thought that it only made sense to recognize his successful efforts of marketing, Not only did he illustrate himself as the “change candidate” through all mainstream media formats, but gained leverage by using our platform of choice of the mobile phone. Unprecedented, Barack Obama reached the American public with a mobile media package that combined SMS text messages, mobile website, interactive voice response, mobile video, and mobile banner ads.
Adding TV, radio and print to that mix, it looks like he left no stone unturned. I do applaud him for recognizing and utilizing this most personable and direct form of communication. It just goes to show you how effective this emerging platform is and what the public expects of this form of communication.
What can I say? Great minds think alike. Barack Obama and Out of Hand are onto to something big. Check out the article here, which inspired this blog post and made me more confident that the mobile phone is the wave of the future
